You've been wondering how to get Battlemode 3 ?

So, how?
You need 3 things:
Stain Clone
Trance Force
Minesta Craft Stone (Recipe)
2&3 are easy to get. You simply purchase the Trance Force item from an NPC grocer, and the Minesta Craft Stone from an NPC Core Alchemist. See the craft material table in the linked post below for the prices and locations of these two items.
The Stain Clones are the ones you have to work for. These are given as rewards for quests. You need 40 of them for Battle Mode 3 and the first Fatal Attack Skill, then 50 and 70 for the 2nd and 3rd stage of the Fatal Attack skills respectively. There are 31 different quests available that will give Stain Clones as reward, and these Quests are started by using Quest Capsules.
So where do you find Quest Capsules? Number 1 - 3 you can receive as a Daily Quest (you can pick one of the three, repeated each day, as many days as you need). Number 4-31 will drop while you are levelling or farming AP.

So while it may seem complex at first it really is rather simple.
You find/buy Quest Capsules
use them to get the quests that give Stain Clones as reward,
collect those Stain Clones until you have enough,
Purchase the additional items you need,
then craft your BM3 skill.
